Everyone has access to produce, right? Not necessarily. With the commoditization of agriculture, some rural communities are left with few choices when it comes to where they actually get their produce.
Current Farms is on a mission: to provide high-quality produce to its rural community in northern Louisiana. Conrad and Kayden, aka Tuna, are focused on community-supported agriculture; they deliver fresh produce to over 70 households each week. They are focused on enhancing the lives of their neighbors, while also taking care of the land that they have been given.
This project was shot in 48 hours, by Carter and Brynn Carroll, husband and wife duo of ReCollect Media. Originally, the piece was just going to be about our friends who own a farm. However, the story grew into more than just that. We hope to explore more stories in the rural farming space in the near future.
